ACUTE EFFECT OF KINESIOTAPE APPLICATION ON SHOULDER MUSCLE STRENGTH IN MALE WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL PLAYERS

Purpose: This research aims to determine the effect of kinesiotaping application on wheelchair basketball players’ shoulders. 
 Methods: A total twelve players from TSK Karagücü team were involved in this research. The average age subjects was 31.17±7.90 years and mean body mass index 25.41±6.96 kg/cm2. Subjects assessed before after combined kinesiotape deltoideus muscle. Muscle facilitation technique applied Isokinetic parameters subjects’ shoulder joints measured with Cybex NORM isokinetic dynamometer. It taken dominant shoulders' flexion abduction movements into consideration for measurements. Measurements repeated applications. In measurement, 5 repetitions at 60°/sec 10 180°/sec shoulder's muscle strength performed. Peak torques works calculated. statistical analyses data, SPSS Windows 25.0 packet program used. Wilcoxon Test performed pretest posttest comparisons. results evaluated 0.05 precision.
